On March 22, in Baku, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Azerbaijan Maksat Mamytkanov took part in the ceremony of handing over 10 fire trucks provided by Azerbaijan free of charge. This step is aimed at strengthening the material and technical base of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic and increasing its operational potential, the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported.
During the ceremony, Ambassador Mamytkanov expressed gratitude to the Azerbaijani side for the technical assistance provided, which contributes to improving the effectiveness of emergency response. Also, taking into account the significant experience of the Fire Service of Azerbaijan in emergency response and the use of modern technologies, he expressed interest in developing cooperation in the field of training and retraining of specialists of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of fire safety.
