According to Kyrgyzstan’s Ministry of Economy and Commerce, the country’s GDP per capita in 2023 reached $1,969.2, compared to $1,350.7 in 2021.
Kyrgyzstan’s economic growth over the past three years averaged 6.9% (in 2021 – 5.5%, in 2022 – 9%, and in 2023 – 6.2%). Since 2021, the country has recorded an acceleration in GDP growth, which led to a significant increase in GDP per capita, the growth of which averaged 17.3% (in 2021 – 9.8%, in 2022 – 28.8%, and in 2023 – 13.2%).
If this level of economic growth persists, by 2032 the Kyrgyz Republic will be able to reach an upper middle income level according to the World Bank classification.
