New Bus Routes Connecting Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan
The Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan plans to organize passenger bus services from Uzbekistan’s regions to cities in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Russia, and China.
The planned bus routes are:
To Kazakhstan:
Bukhara – Turkestan
Urgench – Aktau
Fergana – Almaty
To Kyrgyzstan:
Andijan – Osh
Andijan – Jalalabad
Andijan – Arslanbob
Kosonsoy – Jalalabad
Bukhara – Bishkek
To Tajikistan:
Samarkand – Dushanbe
Bukhara – Dushanbe
To Russia:
Surkhandarya – Bukhara – Urgench – Nukus – Moscow
Urgench – Nukus – Ufa
Nukus – Krasnodar
Tashkent – Ufa
Tashkent – Krasnodar
To China:
Nukus – Urgench – Bukhara – Urumqi (Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region)
The Ministry has invited domestic and foreign transport companies to apply for the provision of regular bus services on the proposed routes.
