According to the Kazakh Ministry of Transport, Kazakhstan’s airlines have transported about 5.5 million passengers since the beginning of this year, an increase by 17% compared to the same period last year.
Today, domestic flights in Kazakhstan are operated by six airlines on 53 routes with a frequency of 640 flights per week.
The state subsidizes 19 air routes inside Kazakhstan to ensure the transport accessibility of socially significant destinations and develop domestic tourism.
Kazakhstan’s airlines companies also run 619 international flights per week on 107 routes to 29 countries, including the UK, Vietnam, Germany, Georgia, Egypt, Qatar, China, Malaysia, UAE, and Thailand.
