On June 3 in Astana, Chairman of the Board of the national company Kazakh Invest Yerzhan Yelekeyev held a meeting with executives of Singaporean companies.
The delegation visited Kazakhstan following the results of the forum held in Singapore with the participation of Kazakhstan’s president in May.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for further investment cooperation in IT, education, and healthcare.
“Your visit indicates a high level of interest and is the first result of fruitful work within the forum framework. We are pleased to welcome Singapore business to Kazakhstan and are open to further development of cooperation between our countries because Singapore is Kazakhstan’s leading partner in Southeast Asia,” Chairman Yelekeyev said.
He presented the country’s investment potential to the Singaporean representatives, inviting them to jointly implement investment projects in Kazakhstan. Prospects for cooperation in the fields of IT and education were discussed with ANTS Educare, Green Olive Tree, and Ezra Solutions, and issues of partnership in the field of healthcare were discussed with Agape-Life Medtech & Healthcare Group.
In addition, Kazakh Invest and Silk Gate signed a Memorandum of Understanding to develop bilateral relations. Silk Gate helps companies gain a foothold in the Singapore market, establish business contacts, and expand their presence in Asia, Europe, and the United States.
