Laziz Kudratov, Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan, and Hatori Takashi, Ambassador of Japan to Uzbekistan, on July 2 signed Exchange Notes for the “Economic and Social Development Program” valued at 1 billion yen (approximately $6.3 million). The program is part of the grant assistance provided by the Government of Japan.
As part of the program, Uzbekistan will receive additional four medical mobile containers equipped with computed tomography scanners and X-ray equipment. Computed tomography scanners are essential for the diagnosis of a broad spectrum of medical conditions. A mobile medical container can be swiftly deployed to any location, including areas affected by emergencies. This will enhance the capacity to deliver effective medical aid across Uzbekistan.
