Kazakhstan begins production of John Deere agricultural machinery

Production of John Deere agricultural machinery and equipment has been officially launched at the Localization Center of the AGROMASH plant in the northern Kazakh city of Kostanay.

John Deere is a world leader in the production of agricultural machinery, and the beginning of its manufacturing in Kazakhstan, the largest agricultural producer in Central Asia, is a milestone in the development of domestic agricultural equipment production.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, the launch of John Deere production in Kazakhstan opens up new opportunities for local farmers, offering an expanded range of agricultural machinery adapted to local conditions, as well as the opportunity to purchase equipment through government support measures.

John Deere and its official dealer in Kazakhstan, the Eurasia Group, will continue selling agricultural machinery in Kazakhstan, but now it will be made inside the country. The partners also provide repair and maintenance services and implement digital solutions in the Kazakh agricultural sector. They plan to build three service centers in the country during the next five years, as well as train local services and other specialists for agriculture, including agronomists, engineers, machine operators, and IT personnel.

AGROMASH continues localizing the production of Western brands. In addition to John Deere, the plant’s Localization Center now manufactures components and agricultural machinery of leading global brands, including Lovol (China), Deutz-Fahr (Germany), Kirovets (Russia), Gomselmash (Belarus), and Claas (Germany).
