The international exhibition Central Asian Business Expo-2025 was held in the United States, bringing together major international companies, investors, and government representatives. The Uzbek delegation, led by Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov, showcased the country’s ongoing digital transformation and investment potential in the IT sector.
Throughout the event, bilateral meetings were conducted with a number of prominent U.S. companies. The Uzbek side provided detailed information on reforms aimed at developing the national IT ecosystem, creating a favorable investment climate, and successfully implemented initiatives.
Particular attention was given to the Zero Risk initiative, the IT Visa program, and Enterprise Uzbekistan — all of which are aimed at facilitating international cooperation, attracting skilled professionals, and supporting startups.
In his keynote speech, Minister Shermatov outlined Uzbekistan’s priorities in expanding digital infrastructure, increasing outsourcing capacity, and strengthening international partnerships in the technology sector.
Additional discussions were held with members of the Uzbek diaspora in the United States, as well as with representatives of logistics and other related industries. Participants explored potential areas of cooperation in IT and digital services.
Several U.S. companies expressed strong interest in the Uzbek IT market and indicated their intention to explore concrete partnership opportunities and launch joint projects in the near future.
The Central Asian Business Expo serves as a global cooperation platform for the countries of Central Asia, with the participation of leading international companies, investors and institutions. The event aims to promote the region’s technology sector and highlight opportunities for international outsourcing and investment.
